Privacy Policy

BATO Consulting LLC • Last Updated: August 18, 2026

1. What This Covers

This policy describes what happens to your information when you visit bato.com. It covers this website only.

BATO Consulting LLC ("BATO") is a one-person consulting practice. In this policy "I" means BATO Consulting LLC.

2. Who I Am

BATO Consulting LLC

Nashville, TN

Website: https://bato.com

Email: bill@bato.com

3. What I Collect

Only what you type into the contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your company
  • Your email address
  • The message you write

There is nothing else. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you across pages or sites. There is no account to create and no profile built about you.

4. Server Logs

My hosting provider records standard web server logs when a page is requested — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, and browser user agent. These are generated automatically by the web server, are used only for security and troubleshooting, and are not combined with contact form submissions or used to identify individual visitors.

5. Why I Collect It

To read and respond to your inquiry. That is the only purpose. I do not send marketing email, and adding you to a mailing list is not something that happens here.

6. Who Else Processes Your Data

Three third parties are involved in running this site:

Web3Forms — contact form processing

  • Receives and delivers your contact form submission to my inbox.
  • Runs a server-side spam check on submissions.
  • Privacy policy: https://web3forms.com/privacy

Hostinger — website hosting

  • Serves the site and generates the server logs described above.
  • Privacy policy: https://www.hostinger.com/privacy-policy

Google Fonts — typefaces

  • This site loads its fonts from Google. Your browser requests them directly, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.
  • No cookies are set by this, and it happens whether or not you use the contact form.
  • Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

The contact form is also protected by a hidden honeypot field, which is checked on submission and stores nothing.

7. What I Do Not Do

I do not sell your personal data. I do not share it for advertising. I do not use it to build advertising or tracking profiles, and I do not pass it to anyone beyond the processors named above.

8. How Long I Keep It

Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep ordinary business records of who I have spoken with. Inquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are clearly no longer relevant.

Server logs are retained on my host's standard schedule and then rotated out.

9. Deletion and Access

Email bill@bato.com and ask. I will delete what I hold about you, or tell you what that is, within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no form to fill in.

If you are in the EEA or UK, or in a US state with its own privacy law, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection. The same email address exercises all of them.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.

11. Contact
